Cake and Song

It would not be a birthday without cake!  We had lifegroup at our house tonight so I made a cake for us to sing "Happy Birthday" with and EAT!!!  However, this is not the end of the festivities.  There will be a superhero party on Saturday to continue the celebration of Zander's 5th year.

Birthday Breakfast

Zander started off his 5th birthday by going to IHOP for pancakes.  He got to take his friend Cam and the class pet Froggy.  This is the week Zander is entertaining the class pet and what a great week for Froggy to be with the Smileys.

This is my last year with Zander at home with me on Monday and Friday.  I am definitely trying to enjoy it while I can.  Today we worked on building some interesting structures with blocks.  Zander loves to create.  I kept getting told how to do it.  I am sure going to miss these alone times with him next year.

Happy Valentines Day!

I made Valentines for the boys to hand out to friends at their Valentine parties. I Thought I would share them in wishing all of you a Happy Valentine's Day.

50th Day of School

It is the 50th day of school. In celebration, the school had 50s day. You should have seen all the poodle skirts at the bus stop. Wish I had taken my camera to the bus stop. I like 50s style!!!
