Boys on Easter

Well, I somehow manage to still make them look halfway decent for church.  Notice Zander in the flip flops....those were removed before we made it to the car and replaced with proper dress shoes.   Can't say I blame the child....I like to wear flip flops all the time too.  Hope everyone had a great Easter.

A Last First Lost

The last first lost tooth was lost tonight.  Zander has been waiting so long to loose a tooth.  He has watch Colter and Trent loose several teeth and now it is his turn.  Hope the tooth fairy doesn't forget to stop by.  That has happened before at the Smiley household.

At the Creek

One of the boys favorite spots is "the creek".  Bob discovered this sandy creek and has been taking the boys for some time.  I decided to go one day and could not believe how pretty this creek was.  I thought they were going to some muddy old yucky creek.  I decided right then we were coming back some day to do family pics.  Well, it happened in October.  Here are my two favorites.  Lots more to share later.

My Favorite Veteran

I am so Thankful to all those who have served our country and I want to honor you today....epecially to my dad, the most important veteran in my life.

Time????

Wow!  Where does the time go?  I came across this pic from two years ago.  Cannot get over how much they have changed and how two years got away so fast.  I crack up looking at this pic, because their personalities are portrayed very well in this one picture.  On Tuesday we are doing a family photo session.  It will be interesting to compare them.  Hope to post some later this week.

First Day!

It was a day of firsts.  First day of Kindergarten for Zander, first day of Intermediate School for Colter and Trent's first day to be the big brother at school.
